 IT IS YOUR RIGHT UNDER THE NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS ACT TO COLLECTIVELY ORGANIZE and the following is the simple process:

1.) Once I obtain 70% of signed authorization for representation cards, I will file for an election to be conducted by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) assigned Field Representative. This secret ballot election will occur during company time and on company property or a mail ballot election will be conducted. Once I file, all of your benefits, wages, and working conditions are frozen until the election is completed.

2.) The Union needs 50% + 1 of the eligible employees who are voting to vote yes for our representation.

3.) The NLRB representative certifies the election results and IBEW Local 543 becomes your Sole Representative and has one year to secure a contract with your employer.

4.) You pay no Union Dues until I present you a contract that all of you will vote to accept or reject. If you reject the contract, then I will capture the issues and go back to the negotiating table and continue the process.
